House & Property Rules
Please do not wear shoes in the house.
Please do not smoke in the house, on the decks or anywhere on the property. This is a fully non-smoking property.
This is a pet-free property.
Please do not block the driveway of #7. If you have two cars, pull them all the way into the driveway, use the garage, or park the second car in the round-about. (Any cars parked in the round-about need a parking pass. You will find two parking passes in the kitchen on or near the windowsill.)
Please take your food with you when you leave. We keep the house stocked with essentials, such as coffee and spices. Please do not leave any other food in the refrigerator, freezer, or cabinets.
No weapons on the property, including firearms, protective weapons, or hunting weapons, without approval from us. (If you are military or police personnel and you carry a weapon, please let us know.)
If anything in the house gets broken or there's a big spill or stain, please let us know! We know that accidents happen. It's not fair to the next guests or to our cleaner to discover these things without warning, and we like to keep the house as comfortable as possible.
Checkout is at 10 AM and on most days our wonderful cleaner arrives right at 10 AM. We usually can't accommodate late check-outs, but we will always try to accommodate early check-ins--please just ask if you'd like an early check in!
Our HOA that governs Bermuda Landing also has Rules and Regulations, including rules about the use of the pool. You can access them here.

Walking to the beach
Our townhouse is just a short walk to the beach. To get there quickest, turn to the right (if you are standing at the bottom of the townhouse stairs and facing the parking lot) and cut through the grass field to the side of the townhouse. From there, just walk straight up 10th Avenue and carefully cross Island Drive. A beach access staircase is at the end of 10th Avenue.

The pool and the pier
One of our favorite things about the Bermuda Landing community is the sweet pool and the fishing, crabbing, and sunset-catching private, community pier.
Things to know about using the pool: Please follow the posted rules. While we provide bathroom towels, we do not provide pool or beach towels, so please pack your own! The pool has an access gate and code, and we will provide you with this code via message. The pool is usually open mid-late May until late September or early October.
Things to know about using the pier: The pier is the PERFECT place for catching the sunset, bird-watch, and crab watch in the shallow areas.

Using the television and Wi-Fi
The television has a Roku streaming device attached. We have it set to guest mode, and at the house, we've provided a Netflix account and password for you to use. Or you can put in your account information for all the apps you use, and guest mode allows you to set your departure date as the expiration for these accounts, where you will be automatically logged out and your information will be forgotten.

3. Remove any food you brought from the refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets.

7. If you used the grill, please make sure you bring it back into the garage, and leave it clean for the next guest.

Beach gear amenities and grill
We have a beach cart, 6 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, several boogie boards, a cooler, several kids' swim vests, beach floaties, and beach toys on site in the garage. Please help yourself! If anything gets broken, please let us know, so we can replace it for the next guests.
Make sure you bring beach towels, as we do not provide those. (Bathroom towels, hand towels, and washcloths and all bedroom linens are provided!)
The gas grill is located in the garage, as our HOA does not allow us to store grills on decks. Please pull it outside to use it! There are extra propane cans near it, so if it is out of propane, switch to a new one, and let us know so we can replace the extra. If you use the grill, please leave it clean for the next guest and bring it back into the garage before you leave.

The paddle boards are locked up. To use them, please fill out the waiver here, and be sure to click the submit button on the bottom of the form. Once you have done that, contact us via the site where you booked the townhouse. We will provide you with the code to unlock the paddle boards and they are yours to use for the duration of your stay.

A little about us!
We are Alex and Alexandra, so if you get messages from us, we are not the same person! We just have similar names. :) Our home is in Chapel Hill, NC, but our little family loves to travel.
Come enjoy a stay at our sweet beach townhouse in North Topsail Beach, NC or come enjoy cooler temps in the summer and skiing and snow in the winter at our spacious mountain cabin in Beech Mountain, NC. We're communicative, whether we are the guest or the host, and we always want guests staying at our homes to have a perfect vacation! If we can do anything to accommodate you more, please ask.
Since we know you're on vacation, we will not bother you much during your stay— we try to be as hand's off as possible so you can make yourself at home. Please contact us if you need anything.
